Succeeding their previous GEL-KAYANO 14 release, South Korean fashion brand UNAFFECTED has once again partnered up with Japanese sportswear brand ASICS for a new footwear collaboration, this time featuring the GEL-KAYANO 20.

About the UNAFFECTED x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 20 Collection

Stripping away the typical sports aesthetic, this collaboration introduces a wearable design that emphasizes functionality and a contemporary feel.

Available in black, white, and red-brown colorways, the shoe’s upper is simplified with a coated lower half and replaced with high-performance outdoor materials, featuring a quick-lace closure for added convenience.

The design is then completed with UNAFFECTED branding on one insole and a special GEL-KAYANO 20 logo on the other.

Release Details

Specific dates have yet to be disclosed as of writing, but the UNAFFECTED x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 20 collection is slated to drop via South Korean retailer FR8IGHT in late October to early November 2024.
