COGNOMEN, the Japanese fashion brand helmed by designer Gene Michael Oe, has just unveiled their inaugural apparel collaboration with the iconic sportswear label Umbro in September 2024.

About the COGNOMEN x Umbro Apparel Collection

This collaboration draws heavily on Umbro’s rich heritage, with COGNOMEN incorporating an unofficial Umbro parody logo they’ve used since their early days, alongside various Umbro archives.

The collection features windbreakers, track pants, game shirts, and balaclava scarves, all designed to appeal to both soccer aficionados and fashion enthusiasts. As a special bonus, customers who purchase items at the pop-up store will receive an “IMAGINARY SIGN HANDKERCHIEF,” a playful nod to the fantasy of encountering a celebrity in a foreign restaurant.

Release Details

The COGNOMEN x Umbro apparel collection will officially launch on 7 September via COGNOMEN retailers. Additionally, a limited pop-up will run from 7 to 16 September at Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo, Japan. Don’t miss out!
