[Update 10 Sep 2024] The three-piece Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 collaboration, initially glimpsed in leaked images earlier this month, has now been unveiled in its entirety. Dubbed the “Ghost” collection, this trio of sneakers draws inspiration from Stone Island’s iconic Ghost pieces, monochromatic garments that embody the concept of camouflage.

The accompanying lookbook, shot by Liam McRae, showcases the collection’s understated elegance. Each pair within the trio exudes a minimalist aesthetic, blending into the surrounding environment.

The collection is slated to launch on 26 September, available at the Stone Island webstore and select brand retail stores.

The New Balance x Stone Island partnership has been instrumental in propelling the 991v2‘s profile. Following the release of the Stone Island x New Balance 574 Legacy in June, the heritage brands continue their collaborative streak with another attempt at the 991v2.

About the Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 MADE in UK

Recent images have revealed a glimpse of the upcoming release, showcasing a hitherto unseen colorway of the 991v2. Alongside the on-foot shot, additional colorways have been teased.

The Sand colorway for one, showcases premium suede and mesh construction, complemented by leather accents. The tonal hues that adorn the panels and mesh base, combined with the velcro Stone Island patch on the tongue, create a harmonious and visually striking design. Lastly, the 991v2’s signature foam midsole with FuelCell cushioning and rubber outsole provides comfort and durability.

Release Details

The Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 MADE in UK Pack is slated for release in 2024 through Stone Island, New Balance, and select retailers, with a price tag of US$250.
