Rumors have been swirling about a potential re-release of the iconic Nike Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Chicago” as the Jordan Brand gears up to celebrate its 40th anniversary next year. While the original Air Jordan 1 “Bred” colorway may be confirmed, it looks like a new version of the “Chicago” with a similar color blocking is expected to drop.
About the Nike Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “White/Varsity Red/Black”
Although the color blocking may deviate slightly from initial expectations, the classic “White”, “Varsity Red”, and “Black” combination remains intact. A first glimpse of this new version is anticipated in the second half of 2025.
While official confirmation from Jordan Brand is still pending, the excitement surrounding the upcoming release is palpable. This new version may not be a replica of the “Chicago” colorway, but it could be a reinterpretation or reimagining of the classic.
