[Update 26 Nov 2024] Ryzeal Deadnader is now highly metagame-relevant; it’s the centerpiece of the Ryzeal deck which has now become the clear best deck in the meta. This card is mainly used for disruption and board control purposes, helping the player set up favorable board scenarios and allow for counterplay against whatever the opponent might have on the field.

Ryzeal Deadnader is one of 10 cards of the all-new Ryzeal archetype introduced in Crossover Breakers, the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Deck Build Pack which was recently released. Of these 10 cards, two of them are the main Xyz monsters and thus likely the biggest draws of all of them; Ryzeal Deadnader is one of those two.

About Ryzeal Deadnader (Deck Build Pack: Crossover Breakers (DBCB-JP007)

Ryzeal Deadnader is one of the cover cards of Crossover Breakers. Since it was therefore heavily featured in the promotional material of Crossover Breakers, it’s much more likely that many will already have seen it, causing more people to gravitate towards this card. As one of just two main Xyz monster cards and the only one of the two that can come in Quarter Century Secret Rare, there’s an inherent level of appeal that this card possesses as well.

Those interested in the gameplay elements might be interested in experimenting with Ryzeal archetype cards such as this one. Cards of that archetype tend to make use of a Rank 4 Toolbox strategy by rapidly swarming out Level 4 monsters and using them as Xyz materials to Xyz Summon Rank 4 Xyz Monsters. This is usually made possible via simple methods to Special Summon Ryzeal cards onto the field from the player’s Graveyard or hand.

This card’s English version will be released on 6 December 2024 as part of the complete English translation of Crossover Breakers.
