The Apodrakosis archetype is one of three new Yu-Gi-Oh TCG archetypes introduced in Crossover Breakers, the newly-released Deck Build Pack. This archetype has begun with 10 cards and of this group of 10, by far the most coveted is the Guangba, Luminous Apodrakosis of Starforge card.

The most important point regarding the high value of this card is its rarity. It’s one of just three Crossover Breakers cards that comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare and the only one of its archetype which does so. One of the set’s cover cards, it’s a combined Ritual Pendulum form of three other Apodrakosis cards. None of the other cards of the archetypes are as such.

This leads to a related point: another unique feature about Guangba, Luminous Apodrakosis of Starforge lies in the fact that of all the Apodrakosis cards, it’s the only one classified as an Effect Ritual Pendulum monster. It’s also the first-ever Ritual Monster able to be Summoned from the Extra Deck as well as the first one that references itself in its Summoning condition.

Release Details

On 6 December 2024, this card will be released in English together with the rest of Crossover Breakers.
