Despite the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 silhouette being a firm favorite among many, the Swoosh gang is about to release a new iteration of it. Dubbed the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Roam, this version, set for a 2024 release, reimagines the classic runner with a rugged, utilitarian aesthetic.

About the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Roam “Flax”

The Vomero 5 Roam, arriving in a “Flax” makeover, features a reinforced upper with a rubber mudguard, water-repellent textiles, and a leather midfoot panel. These upgrades make it more durable and ready to handle any weather. Plus, the updated lacing system and internal construction make it comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Underneath, the Roam boasts a redesigned midsole with a crash pad, dual Air Zoom bags, and Cushlon 3.0 foam. This combination provides responsive cushioning and all-terrain traction. A rubber toe wrap adds extra protection against scuffs and impacts.

Release Details

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Roam “Flax” is set to drop in Holiday 2024 via Nike brick-and-click stores. The pair will retail for US$180 and it will be a women’s exclusive release.
