Now, New Balance is putting its spin on this classic hue with a striking two-shoe collection featuring the 2002R and 1906R models.

About the New Balance 1906R and 2002R “University Blue Pack”

This collection, informally referred to as the “University Blue” pack, captures the essence of collegiate sports style with its fresh and clean color palette. The 2002R model features a power blue mesh upper, complemented by tonal suede overlays that add texture and depth. The design is completed with a cohesive look, featuring a white and blue midsole and a darker blue rubber outsole, which creates a balanced contrast.

In contrast, the 1906R model stands out with its bright white leather overlays against the same power blue mesh. This combination accentuates the shoe’s dynamic design while giving it a lighter, more open feel. The midsole echoes the white and University Blue theme of the 2002R, but the 1906R is finished with a semi-translucent sole, adding a contemporary twist.

Release Date
