The three promotional Pokémon TCG cards to be distributed at Championship Series 2025 tournaments in Japan have now been confirmed. The first tournament at which they will be handed out will be Champions League Tokyo which takes place over the weekend of 21-22 September 2024.
About the Championship Series 2025 Prize Cards
These cards are reprints of the Scizor ex card from Cyber Judge [SV5M], the Tatsugiri card from Mask of Change [SV6], and the latest version of the Enhanced Hammer card from Dark Rush [BW4] which has received many reprints over more than a decade. The Tatsugiri card will be a participation prize issued to all entrants while the Enhanced Hammer card will be reserved for players finishing in the top 64. Only tournament winners will be able to get their hands on the Scizor ex card.
Each of these three cards has the Championship Series 2025 logo on its right side. This provides the cards with a sense of authenticity and exclusivity, likely boosting their values.
Release Details
It’s unlikely that any of these cards will ever be released in English.
The sale prices of the Championship Series 2025 prize cards will only be known once the cards are on the open market.
