Team USA’s recent Olympic gold medal victory in Paris has sparked a wave of celebratory sneaker releases for its star athletes. LeBron James made headlines with his all-gold LeBron 22, while Steph Curry unveiled his twelfth signature shoe, the same model he wore during his clutch three-point barrage in the championship game. Not to mention, Anthony Edwards received a special edition adidas AE 1 dubbed the “Gold Medal” in a golden briefcase.

Joining the golden sneaker trend, Joel Embiid has received a special gift from Skechers to commemorate his Olympic triumph. The basketball star was presented with a unique, all-gold version of the Skechers SKX Float, his go-to shoe throughout the previous season and the Games.

The left and right shoes feature alternating gold and black color-blocking, and Embiid’s signature “Trust The Process” mantra is incorporated into the upper’s design. His name is prominently displayed on the heel in a player-exclusive (PE) style. A video shared by Skechers Basketball on Instagram captured the moment Embiid received the shoes in a luxurious golden box.
