[Update 16 Aug 2024] Additional images of the TroubleSmile x ASICS GEL-KAHANA TR V4 have emerged via Nice Kicks. To boot, the official color palette has been announced as well—a striking Red, Yellow, and Silver. Get ready for the pair to be released today exclusively via ASICS’ Chengdu store.

Chinese streetwear label TroubleSmile is back at it with ASICS, reuniting for a fresh take on the GEL-KAHANA TR V4 silhouette. This marks the second collaboration between the two brands, following their previous “Adventure”, “Belief”, and “Freedom” themed drops in 2023.

Expanding on the silhouette’s foundation, this pair boasts a closed mesh base that transitions seamlessly from yellow to a orange-red hue, adorned with eye-catching flame graphics. The darker hues of the gradient extend onto the tongues and heel counters, while the interior is lined in dark brown.

Silver synthetic overlays adds a retro-inspired touch, and a distressed cream midsole contrasts beautifully with the vibrant upper. Completing the design is a rugged orange and black outsole, perfect for urban exploration.

No global release has been confirmed as of writing, but the TroubleSmile x ASICS GEL-KAHANA TR V4 is slated to see a pop-up launch on 16 August at the ASICS Chengdu store in China. Stay tuned for more updates.
