ONE PIECE Card Game Tama

Ordinarily, cards of relatively low rarity don’t even register a blip on most ONE PIECE Card Game collectors’ radars. This is almost always the case even when the card in question has a Parallel Art illustration. However, the Uncommon Parallel (UC-P) version of the Tama card from Romance Dawn [OP-01] has proven to be a clear outlier.

This card’s Parallel Art illustration depicts the kunoichi-in-training from Wano Country gleefully clinging on to the side of the head of Kozuki Momonosuke after the future shogun of Wano used his Devil Fruit powers to take the form of a massive dragon. In the manga, the two are close friends despite the vast status disparity; for most of the Wano Country Arc, Momonosuke was a child of Tama’s age before being aged up via the Devil Fruit powers of Shinobu, one of the Kozuki family’s retainers.

The illustration is likely to appeal to many because it adds further character to Tama and Momonosuke’s interactions—something which many manga readers wished had been given more of a spotlight during the Wano Country Arc. It almost single-handedly elevates the card’s usually low value owing to its base rarity of Uncommon (UC).

This card has already been released in English; however, this particular Parallel Art version hasn’t.

The price of a Tama (Romance Dawn [OP-01] OP01-006) card of UC-P rarity is 2,500 JPY (~US$16).
