When the complete list of cards to be found in Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Core Booster Rage of the Abyss was unveiled, there was only ever one card which would emerge as the set’s most coveted. An upgraded Fusion form of the Dragon of Pride and Soul card from Infinite Forbidden, Ultimate Dragon of Pride and Soul was the card everyone was seeking as soon as the set was out.

Just like Dragon of Pride and Soul, Ultimate Dragon of Pride and Soul is themed around the number 25 to honor the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. For that same reason, the only rarity in which this card exists is Quarter Century Secret Rare. This card is a counterpart of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

What’s interesting is the fact that prior to this card as well as the original Dragon of Pride and Soul card, the Magicians of Bonds and Unity card which had been the previous Quarter Century Secret Rare-exclusive card of other 25th anniversary Core Boosters had been in several sets; however, Dragon of Pride and Soul was in just one before being replaced by this card. Thus, it remains to be seen if future iterations of this card will ever be released.

This card hasn’t yet been released in English.

An Ultimate Dragon of Pride and Soul (Rage of the Abyss ROTA-JP000) card is valued at 43,000 JPY (~US$280).
