While the world eagerly awaits the There Skateboards collaboration, a more familiar partnership is rekindled. First looks of the Antihero x Nike SB Dunk High have surfaced, promising a Holiday 2024 drop.

Antihero and Nike SB share a lineage with mutual sponsorship of legends like Grant Taylor and Brian Anderson. Their previous 2018 Dunk High collaboration was a testament to their shared DNA. Antihero’s influence extends beyond the skate world, with high-profile partnerships with Supreme and Vans solidifying their streetwear status.

While the color palette of white and off-white might seem understated, the material choices are anything but. Cracked leather and exposed foam lend the shoe a gritty, lived-in aesthetic, a stark contrast to the pristine image often associated with high-end sneakers.

For branding, Antihero’s eagle logo is debossed on the heel and tongue. The insole rounds out the pair through through the distressed narrative and graphic, evoking a blend of nocturnal grunge and vintage charm.
