Devin Booker has solidified his status as an NBA luminary, and his signature Nike Book 1 reflects his unique style and journey. While the shoe’s initial release sparked mixed reactions, subsequent versions have captured widespread acclaim. Building on this momentum, Nike is set to unveil the Nike Book 1 “Sunset”, a colorway designed to thrill both Phoenix Suns fans and sneaker enthusiasts.

Inspired by the vibrant hues of the Arizona desert, the Book 1 “Sunset” features a striking tonal Court Purple canvas upper that creates a sleek, unified aesthetic. The subtle purple Swoosh seamlessly blends into the upper, enhancing the shoe’s cohesive design. Pops of Total Orange on the tongue and lining complement the purple base, while a pink Chapter One logo adorns the heel. Booker’s personal touch is evident in the subtle family crest logo on the inner tongue tag.

A departure from previous models, the “Sunset” iteration of the Nike Book 1 eliminates the book spine-inspired pull tab for a cleaner heel look. The purple rubber midsole incorporates Cushlon 2.0 foam for exceptional comfort, while a TPU sidewall and top-loaded Zoom Air heel unit provide support and responsiveness. The shoe’s standout feature is the gradient outsole, transitioning from pinkish purple to orange, perfectly capturing the essence of a desert sunset.

The Nike Book 1 “Sunset” will launch on 15 November 2024 via Nike and select retailers, both online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the shoe retails for US$140.
