Stellar Miracle [SV7], the newest Pokémon TCG set, is primarily based on The Indigo Disk, the second DLC of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games. As such, many of the standout cards of the set directly pertain to newly-introduced characters and Pokémon in the DLC. One such card is that of Hydrapple ex.

As might have been expected, a large part of this card’s appeal is the novelty factor—Hydrapple ex is a Pokémon that was first introduced in The Indigo Disk; as such, this is the Pokémon TCG’s first-ever Hydrapple card. The card has a rarity of Special Art Rare (SAR) and features a Full Art illustration with all of its heads and tails out.

Surrounding Hydrapple ex are many Applin—the first form of Hydrapple’s evolutionary line. The card’s background also features a crystalline pattern; although Hydrapple ex is not a Terastallized Pokémon, the background likely refers to the heavy emphasis placed on Terastallization by this set.

This card’s English version will be card 167/142 in the upcoming Stellar Crown [SCR] set.

The price of a Hydrapple ex (Stellar Miracle [SV7] 127/102) card is 3,600 JPY (~US$23).
