Takashi Murakami Unveils “Jellyfish Eyes” Collectible Trading Cards
Only available for the movie attendees.
Fresh off the US-exclusive release of his Mononoke Kyoto Collectible Trading Cards box, renowned Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami has taken to his Instagram to unveil a brand new TCG set, themed after his 2013 self-directed film, “Jellyfish Eyes”.
This TCG set features a total of 12 designs based on characters from the movie, and commemorates the upcoming revival screening taking place in Kyoto, Japan. The screening is also an extensive campaign for his ongoing “Mononoke Kyoto” exhibition at the Kyocera Museum of Art, slated to run till 1 September.
Available at MOVIX Kyoto from 19 to 25 July, and 2 to 15 August at Uplink Kyoto, attendees of the Takashi Murakami “Jellyfish Eyes” revival screening will receive a special gift of 3 random cards from the 12-design set. These collectible cards will not see a general release.
