Sleek Chic: The New Balance 990v6 Made in USA Doused in “Triple Black”
Pitch Black pigmentation that promises proper style.
Boston-based New Balance is dropping their latest addition to the iconic 990v6 in “Triple Black”. The 900 series, known for its flagship status within New Balance, has seen numerous iterations since the original 1982 release of the 990.
The 990v6, which debuted in 2022 (the 40th anniversary of the 990), boasts a sleek design with a removed midfoot saddle for a streamlined look. This relatively new model prioritizes comfort by incorporating FuelCell technology from New Balance’s running shoes, offering superior cushioning and rebound while maintaining the lightweight feel expected from the MADE in USA series.
This release features a highly sought-after all-Black colorway, with both the upper and sole dyed in jet Black and a subtle red accent on the tongue’s “v6” logo. Additional touches include reflective accents, a TPU back tab, and ENCAP midsole cushioning for superior support.
The New Balance 990v6 MADE in USA “Triple Black” will release on 19 July via select New Balance retail stores and NewBalance.com. Get it at a retail price of US$200. Find it on the SNKRDUNK App post-release.
