Succeeding the release of the “Canyon Gold” colorway last week, Nike isn’t quite finished celebrating the resurgence of the Air Max SNDR’s. This week, official images surfaced showcasing a stunning new iteration.

First seen in 1999, the Air Max SNDR gained renewed traction in 2022 thanks to a collaborative effort with COMME des GARÇONS. Riding the inertia, Nike unveiled a series of vibrant neon colorways—“Electric Green” and “Fuschia Flash”—slated for an August release.

However, this latest addition takes a decidedly more luxurious route, boasting a “Metallic Gold” color scheme. Black serves as the foundation, gracing the shoe’s neoprene outer shell and midsoles. The titular Metallic Gold takes center stage, adorning the overlays, trim, and branding elements. To further elevate its design are the strategically placed 3M accents.

An official release date for the “Metallic Gold” Nike Air Max SNDR remains elusive, but whispers suggest a later date in 2024. Expect this iteration at Nike’s brick-and-click stores and select retailers, carrying a price tag of US$180.
