Miu Miu, the brainchild of the enigmatic Miuccia Prada, continues to enthrall the fashion world with its distinctive blend of luxury and playful subversion. As evidenced by a recent surge in sales, the brand’s influence extends beyond apparel, with its footwear collaborations with New Balance consistently generating excitement and rapid sell-outs.

Earlier this year, Miu Miu and New Balance reimagined the classic 530 with the introduction of the 530SL, a “super light” iteration. Now, a tantalizing glimpse into their next project has emerged: a captivating mule interpretation of the aforementioned.

About the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 Mule

The “Cinnamon” brown hue, a hallmark of their original collaboration, makes a welcome return alongside a pristine white option. Both pairs retain the captivating blend of luxurious leather and utilitarian cotton laces.

The defining feature, however, lies in the transformation of the 530 into a slip-on silhouette. The rear section has been removed, and the footbed meticulously adjusted to seamlessly accommodate the mule design.

Release Details

While official release details remain undisclosed, the overhauled Miu Miu x New Balance 530 is purported to arrive sometime in 2025. Expect them to be exclusive to Miu Miu boutiques, with a price tag likely exceeding US$1,000, aligning with prior collaborations.
