ONE PIECE Card Game Jewelry Bonney

As the second of two Jewelry Bonney cards in 500 Years in the Future [OP-07], demand for this card (as well as the set’s other Jewelry Bonney card) is likely to be on the come-up owing to recent developments in the One Piece manga. In addition, this card’s ascending status in the ONE PIECE Card Game metagame also serves to buff the level of interest that it’s receiving.

In a recent turn of events that sent shockwaves throughout the One Piece fandom, Bonney was revealed to be able to access the powers of Gear 5—something that for a long time, it was assumed that only series protagonist Monkey D. Luffy was capable of doing. This is almost certain to greatly elevate the character’s popularity in the time to come, driving up interest in this card as well as any other card depicting her.

Gameplay-wise, this card features in a deck that’s been played increasingly often in ONE PIECE Card Game tournaments—particularly following the international release of 500 Years in the Future [OP-07] in June 2024. Though this isn’t the Leader card that’s the deck’s featured card, this card does have gameplay viability and is included in certain Green Bonney deck builds.

Although it’s possible that the value of this card might also be partially driven by the usual “female character effect”, it’s more than likely that recent manga developments have blunted this effect. Additionally, there’ll still be a select few who’ll proceed for that reason—though we have to call out their motives as “questionable”, to say the least.

This card’s English version has already been released.

The price of a Jewelry Bonney (500 Years in the Future [OP07-026]) card with a rarity of SR-P is 2,100 JPY (~US$13).
