Nike Teases the Return of the Legendary “Wu-Tang” Dunk High
Purportedly arriving in Fall 2024.
On Sunday, Nike Sportswear sent a jolt through the community with a cryptic Instagram reel hinting at the return of a coveted classic: the Nike Dunk High “Wu-Tang”.
This ultra-rare collaboration, first released in 1999, is indubitably a grail to many. Building on the iconic “Iowa” colorway from the 1985 “Be True to Your School” collection, the Wu-Tang Dunk featured the group’s signature logo emblazoned on the heel.
With rumors swirling that only 36 pairs were ever produced (later clarified to be 100), the Wu-Tang Dunk achieved near-mythical status, fetching astronomical prices on the secondary market.
The teaser suggests a Fall 2024 release, priced at a more accessible US$150. While details regarding the exact release remains undisclosed, fans can sign up for alerts via Wu-Tang’s Instagram Story. Stay tuned!
