[Update 19 Jun 2025] Two iterations of the UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 Retro will be released on 28 August 2025, marking the 25th anniversary of the original.

One version will feature the classic “Nike Air” branding on the heel, while the other will have the Jumpman logo, as seen on the original 2005 release. However, the exact release method for these two versions has not yet been disclosed; it is possible that one version might be exclusive to UNDEFEATED and the other on Nike SNKRS, but this remains unconfirmed.

In tandem, the collaboration also includes a corresponding apparel line, notably a US$325 “MA-1 Flight Jacket”-inspired Air Jordan Renegade Jacket, which continues the military-inspired aesthetic that influenced the original.

The release date has been confirmed as August 28 or 29, 2025, marking the 20th anniversary of the original UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4, which was a highly coveted and limited sneaker initially released in 2005. The sneaker features premium olive green suede uppers with black and orange accents and retains signature details such as the Velcro Jumpman patch on the tongue.

[Update 5 May 2025] As confirmed by MrUnloved1s, the release date for the UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 has officially shifted to 28 August 2025, moving from its initial June release window. The pair will be available at UNDEFEATED locations, both in-store and online, and Nike SNKRS, with a retail price of US$225.

[Update 21 Apr 2025] A slew of new images of the UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 Retro “Deep Green” (2025) have surfaced via fkzsnkrs. Alongside this, new details have come to light. This collaboration will also revive the silver Air Jordan Retro shoebox from the mid-2000s. This special packaging, initially introduced in 2005 for the Air Jordan’s 20th anniversary, gains renewed significance in 2025 as UNDEFEATED celebrates its own 20-year legacy of innovation in footwear.

The UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Jordan 4 is slated for a grand return next year, marking the 20th anniversary of its original release. Born in 2005 from the first-ever collaboration between Jordan Brand and UNDEFEATED (UNDFTD), the titular pair quickly achieved grail status among collectors.

Departing from the traditional Air Jordan 4 aesthetic, the pair’s military-inspired colorway, featuring a sophisticated blend of olive green suede, black accents, and pops of orange, instantly set it apart. Further elevating its appeal were premium materials and meticulous attention to detail, solidifying its position as a coveted piece for discerning collectors.

2025’s iteration is poised to remain faithful to its predecessor. Expect the same olive green suede upper, contrasting black and orange detailing, and the signature Undefeated logo adorning the heel. The unique Velcro tongue patch, reminiscent of military flight jacket patches, will also make a welcome return.
