DIME, Montreal-based skateboarding and streetwear imprint, adds another chapter to their collaborative portfolio with adidas. The upcoming footwear collection builds upon their established repertoire, which includes well-received iterations of the Superstar ADV, ADI2000, and Busenitz Vulc 2.0.

The centerpiece of the collection undoubtedly lies in the reimagined Stan Smith. This iconic silhouette receives a subtle yet impactful update through a redesigned upper. DIME incorporates a wavy debossed pattern across the leather sections.

Two distinct colorways are offered: a classic white base accented with green, and a sleek black iteration with brown accents. Both retain the hallmarks of the Stan Smith, with DIME’s playful Jesus portrait logo replacing the traditional portrait on the tongue.

Complementing the Stan Smiths are the DIME x adidas Ayoon Slides. These slides showcase a gradient effect, transitioning from a darker hue near the heel to a lighter shade at the toe.

The palette features a Brown iteration that shifts from deep brown to a lighter shade, while the Silver colorway transitions from a silver hue to black. DIME branding is highlighted on the lateral sidewall, presiding over a tonal foam outsole.

This collaborative collection by DIME and adidas is slated to release in July 2024 through DIME stores, adidas storefronts, and select online and in-store retailers. Offered in men’s sizing, the Stan Smiths will retail for US$120, while the Ayoon Slides will be priced at US$60.
