(NOTE: As of right now, translations of the set’s title as “The New Emperor” as well as “The Four Emperors” have been seen in almost equal frequency. Until a consensus has been reached, this article will thus refer to the set as “OP-09” until further notice.)

The next major ONE PIECE Card Game booster pack release is on its way. OP-09, a set focused on the Four Emperors: Monkey D. Luffy, Shanks, Buggy, and Marshall D. Teach—supposedly the four most powerful pirates in the One Piece canon, will be released on 31 August 2024. As such, cards depicting these characters will almost certainly be among the set’s featured cards.

OP-09 will contain 129 cards with a rarity breakdown as follows:

• 6 Leader cards
• 45 Commons
• 30 Uncommons
• 26 Rares
• 10 Super Rares
• 2 Secret Rares
• 10 Specials

A single OP-09 pack will retail for 220 JPY (~US$1.38) while a booster box will carry a price tag of 5,280 JPY (~US$33).
