Japanese sneaker retailer atmos and sportswear brand ASICS are once again teaming up for a footwear release, this time featuring the GEL-KAYANO 14 in a mesmerizing “Yakoutake” colorway.

“Yakoutake”, which translates to “Mycena Chlorophos” in English, is a mushroom species known for being bioluminescent and emitting a pale green light.

This characteristic is embodied by the footwear model, showcasing a glowing effect distributed throughout its overlays and outsole, as well as a splatter effect throughout the midsole.

No additional details have been disclosed for the pair at this time, but it is expected to arrive in the coming weeks through atmos and ASICS. Stay tuned for further updates.
