Every year, Creatures Inc. releases a new promotional card in conjunction with the Pokémon TCG World Championships. They’ve done so once again—this time around, it’s a Paradise Resort card featuring a new illustration.

While a Paradise Resort card was also the official promotional card of the 2023 World Championships, this year’s iteration has been changed to reflect the tournament’s location in Honolulu. The illustration features eight different Pokémon frolicking in the waves off what’s implied to be the Hawaiian coast.

To add to the card’s relevance to the location, an Alolan Raichu and an Alolan Exeggutor can be seen in the background. These regional variants made their debuts in the Pokémon Sun and Moon video games which are set in the Pokémon universe’s Hawaii analog.

This card, like the official World Championships promotional cards before it, has the Worlds logo on the right side of the card. As this is an exclusive card, it will likely fetch significant amounts of money once it hits the open market.

This card will first be made available on 16 August 2024, the first day of the Pokémon TCG World Championships. Its sale price will only be known once the first copies to hit the open market do so.

It’s unlikely that this card will ever be released in Japanese.
