Following in the footsteps of brands such as PORTER and New Era, Yohji Yamamoto’s Ground Y label is gearing up to launch a special capsule collection in celebration of Japanese manga artist Fujiko F Fujio’s 90th anniversary.

At the time of writing, full details have yet to be unveiled, but the lineup will include various items themed around some of the artist’s famous works, such as “Perman”, “Mami the Psychic”, and, of course, “Doraemon”.

The teaser image by Ground Y has also showcased mandala art-inspired graphics featuring the aforementioned series.

The Ground Y “Fujiko F Fujio 90th Anniversary” collection is set to pre-launch via a pop-up at Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo, Japan, from 12 to 18 June. Prior to that, full product details will be unveiled on 31 May. Stay tuned for further updates.
