London streetwear powerhouse, The Basement, is teaming up with New Balance again to infuse the 1906R silhouette with underground flair. This isn’t their first collaboration; back in 2022, they dropped three distinct colorways of the 2002R model.
For the latest iteration, The Basement is giving the 1906R a summer makeover. The first colorway features a sleek black base with breathable grey mesh panels. Shiny silver accents catch the light, complemented by cool lilac New Balance logos and “BSMT” branding on the forefoot.
The second iteration opts for a lighter base with shimmering chrome accents, while both colorways feature co-branded details on the back, tongue, and pull tabs. Mirrored heel cups add a futuristic touch. To finish, the shoes have adjustable lace toggles and classic two-toned 1906R soles.
While release details remain scant at the moment, The Basement x New Balance 1906R Collection is rumored to drop sometime this year. For the latest news and updates on your favorite drops, keep it locked to SNKRDUNK Magazine!
