After the public dispute between adidas and Kanye West in 2023, adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden informed investors of their plan to sell remaining YEEZY stock, with a portion of the proceeds potentially going to charities impacted by Kanye’s comments.

With a billion-dollar investment on their hands, discarding the inventory wasn’t a viable option. Therefore, clearing the inventory through sales became the ideal solution.

Now, rumors suggest adidas is gearing up to release the remaining inventory for a second time round between May and June 2024. It’s unclear if Kanye will receive any profits from these sales after the disagreements with adidas. However, for fans, this is a second chance to cop YEEZY silhouettes they might have missed out on previously.
