Anthony Edwards is having his praises sung by even the most hypercritical of analysts and fans this year, growing even louder with the NBA Playoffs well underway. And his debut signature shoes with the Three Stripes have been enjoying the same, with many touting the adidas AE1 as the best performance basketball shoe in recent years.

Among them, some have even experimented with the pair’s lifestyle appeal, wearing them with jeans as per the street culture dress code à la mode in the 2010s. Thus, the Low iteration of the pair is as expected.

Based on the leaked images from @brandon1an, the adidas AE 1 Low, in “MX Grey” features a black mesh upper, while the TPU side panels boast a marbled finish in varying shades of grey. Branding elements finish off the aesthetic with a woven tag on the tongue, and the hallmark Three Stripes logo on the molded back heel.

In the performance department, a Jet Boost midsole encased in TPU delivers top-tier responsiveness and stability, and is further supported by a full-length torsional plate and a durable herringbone-traction rubber outsole.

A firm release date hasn’t been disclosed except for a projection of a Summer 2024 drop, along with a price tag of US$110. Stay tuned for more details and images in the coming weeks!
