The new era of Travis Scott and Jordan Brand’s partnership has begun with the official release of the Jumpman Jack “Sail” on Nike SNKRS last week. And while the aforementioned silhouette may carry the novelty, there’s nothing that compares to the power of nostalgia, especially if it is of the Air Jordan 1 Low, the quintessential sneaker.
Adjacent to the series of Jumpman Jack colorways that’ve surfaced, more Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1s are in the pipeline. The “Canary” iteration has been confirmed to arrive on 17 May, with an “Olive” one purported for a Spring 2025 release. Now, a “Velvet Brown” has been teased to follow.
While official pictures haven’t surfaced yet, details paint a picture of a premium suede shoe, adorned with the partnership’s hallmarks:
The pair’s design retains the signature oversized, reversed Swoosh on the lateral, balanced by a regular one on the medial. The “Cactus Jack” imprint graces the tongue, medial panel, and sockliner; with the heel tabs making a home for the Jordan Wings insignia.
The Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Velvet Brown” is hinted to hit shelves sometime in Spring 2025 with an RRP of US$150. Information and images are scant but stay tuned for more in the coming weeks!
