The Nike Air Foamposite One “International Blue” Is Set for a Return
Another basketball silhouette making a comeback this year?
The Nike Air Foamposite One “International Blue” is set to make a statement this fall! This classic silhouette, designed by Eric Avar in 1997, became a major hit when Nike introduced the revolutionary Foamposite material. Penny Hardaway rocking them on the court only fueled the craze, boosting its popularity that continues today.
Fast forward to 2024, and the “International Blue” is the third colorway prepping for a comeback, following the return of the “Eggplant” and the upcoming “Metallic Copper” colorways this year.
Leaked images from @zsneakerheadz show the shoe with a bold, International Blue upper contrasted by sleek Black accents on the laces, tongue, and eyelets.
The mini Swoosh sits on the toe, while Penny Hardaway’s logo graces the tongue and heel. Finishing things off is a translucent outsole with a Black carbon fiber shank for added support.
The Nike Air Foamposite One “International Blue” is slated to drop in August 2024 for US$240 at select retailers and online at Nike.
