[Update 29 May 2024] Great news! The Nike Air Jordan 3 “Hydrogen Blue” is set to release on 25 January, 2025. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for updates.
The legendary Nike Air Jordan 3, designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1988 and instantly recognizable by its elephant print overlays on the heel and toebox, is getting an icy makeover with the “Hydrogen Blue” edition.
This new iteration of the Air Jordan 3 features a crisp white leather upper accented with vibrant hits of Hydrogen Blue. Legend Blue graces the Jumpman tongue and eyelets for a signature touch.
Staying true to its heritage, the design incorporates the familiar elephant print overlays around the toe and heel. The sneaker sits atop a Sail midsole and a greyish rubber outsole, completing the classic look.
While official images haven’t surfaced yet, here’s a speculative mockup from zSneakerHeadz to give you an idea of how the silhouette’s colorblocking might shape out to be.
