The Second Instalment of the XLARGE x Umbro Capsule Collection Arrives This Week
Once more, legacy streetwear meets legacy sportswear.
Legacy streetwear and sportswear brands XLARGE and Umbro have reunited to succeed their collaboration last year. XLARGE, founded in 1991, is known for their pioneering streetwear motifs; while the British powerhouse, with a rich football pedigree dating back to the early ’90s, brings their iconic sportswear aesthetic to the table.
Their sophomore effort will feature custom co-branding such as “XLARGE” being integrated into Umbro’s Diamond logo. Other motifs adorning the archival designs include the year-number jersey alluding to XLARGE’s founding year on the back. Rounding out the pieces are the practice and game kits, perfect for everyday wear.
This XLARGE x Umbro release is a Japan exclusive, hitting all XLARGE and XLARGE/X-girl stores (excluding outlets) and select online stores such as calif and ZOZOTOWN. Available in White and Navy, from S to XL, the soccer jersey will be priced at 14,300 JPY (~US$90); soccer shorts at 13,200 JPY (~US$85); and the L/S practice gear at 17,600 (~US$110).
