Jordan Brand unveils the highly anticipated Air Jordan 39 as the iconic line enters its fourth decade. Rising Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero will christen the shoe during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“It’s an honor to wear the Air Jordan 39s for our first playoff run,” Banchero said. “MJ’s playoff dominance is legendary, and unveiling these shoes in this arena is special.”
The Air Jordan 39 embodies Michael Jordan’s signature playing style. It boasts cutting-edge technology for enhanced performance, particularly in agility and quick changes of direction.
Crafted with meticulous detail, the shoe seamlessly blends speed and stability, offering unparalleled benefits for on-court agility.
In a first for Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan 39 features full-length Nike ZoomX foam. This revolutionary technology delivers an impressive 85% energy return and a responsive, cushioned feel, significantly impacting performance. Additionally, the herringbone traction pattern enhances both speed and control.
The design draws inspiration from Jordan’s iconic moves, incorporating elements reminiscent of the Air Jordan 9 in a subtle nod to his legendary career.
