The Nike Air Jordan 1 Reboots “Rookie of the Year” in Low-Top Glory
A legendary sneaker gets a low-top makeover in 2025.
Nike breathes new life into classic styles with innovative takes. This time, the iconic Air Jordan 1 High OG “Rookie of the Year” gets a fresh makeover as a low-top silhouette. It retains the same color scheme that pays homage to Michael Jordan’s rookie season.
The shoe features a clean combo of sail-colored leather for the base and golden harvest nubuck overlays. Black accents pop on the swoosh, laces, lining, and tongue tag, with a hit of gym red on the Nike Air branding for a touch of extra flair. The look is finished off with a sail midsole and a black rubber outsole for a timeless vibe.
The Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Rookie of the Year” is expected to release in Spring 2025 at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select Jordan Brand retailers. They’ll be available in men’s sizes and will retail at US$140.
