Flagship Battle prize cards are always among the most coveted of all ONE PIECE Card Game cards—not only for their rarity, but also for their prestige. Before they hit the open market, there’s a period of time when the only people in the world who own those cards are tournament victors. One such card is the Parallel Art Kaido card awarded to winners of Flagship Battle tournaments in November and December 2023.

The Parallel Art illustration of a card first released in Romance Dawn [OP-01] shows the Governor-General of the Beast Pirates wielding Hassaikai, his giant kanabo. The split ground beneath Kaidou’s feet as well as the shockwaves emitted underscore the sheer power of even this one single blow.

The card’s holofoil and gold tint around the edges speak to the card’s original status as a tournament prize cards. These implications of prestige and superiority are further bolstered by the metallic gold effect used for the letters and numbers on the card.

While the original version of this Kaido card has been released in English, this Parallel Art version has not.

A Kaido Parallel Art (Romance Dawn [OP01-094]) card sells for 135,000 JPY (~US$890).
