[Update 7 May 2024] The wait is nearly over! The Skepta x PUMA Forever, recently unveiled, makes its European debut on 18 May at PUMA stores and select retailers. Fans outside of Europe will have to wait a bit longer though, with a wider release expected in the coming months. The shoe will be priced at US$215.

Skepta, the grime king who’s been dropping heat since day one (both musically and style-wise), has finally teamed up with PUMA for his own signature shoe! After working with Nike for years, Skepta switched gears in 2022 and became a PUMA ambassador. Fans have been hyped ever since, waiting to see what he’d cook up with the brand.

Well, the wait is almost over! The Skepta x PUMA shoe is a low-top that blends comfort with eye-catching details. It’s got a familiar vibe to Skepta’s past sneaker projects, but with a fresh twist: shimmering iridescent leather overlays that change color depending on how the light hits them. The shoe also features breathable mesh on the toe, tongue, and collar, with layered circles adding a touch of texture.

The stitching on the midfoot cleverly creates PUMA’s iconic form strip, while Skepta’s signature hawk logo takes center stage on the tongue (appearing on the insole and outsole too). The shoe rests on a black, supportive midsole with a metallic silver shank, all topped off with a tough black outsole.

PUMA and select retailers will be dropping the Skepta x Puma shoe sometime in 2024, but word on the exact price has yet to be made.
