ASCIS is proving to the sneaker-sphere yet again that great packs can come from within. The Japanese sporting goods company has returned their once-Awake exclusive GEL-NYC in three contrasting colorways.

The “Wide Mesh” Pack adds a twist to the classic GEL-NYC silhouette: the usual close-knit upper is replaced with a distinctive geometric mesh pattern, instantly setting these kicks apart.

Each shoe features a pastel hue. The “Ivory/Mid Grey” and “Cement Grey/Ash Rock” colorways offer a subtle approach, letting the textured mesh and pops of color on the heel and tongue do the talking.

The “Harbor Blue/Wood Crepe” version has a bolder look, using Wood Crepe for the majority of the upper, with contrasting Harbour Blue peeking through the wide mesh sections. A small, but noticeable dose of red adds the finishing touch to the pair.

This pack has a pair for all tastes—they dropped on 1 March 2024 for US$130 at ASICS and SNS.
