Part 1 of Saucony’s “Legends Pack”: The Saucony Grid Shadow 2 “Year of the Dragon”
Another exceptional in-house collection from the American footwear company.
The Saucony Grid Shadow 2 “Year of the Dragon” is reportedly the first in a line of shoes getting released as part of the brand’s “Legends Pack”.
The upper features suede in a shade of mahogany, a material that stays true to the roots of other Grid Shadow 2 releases. The unique touch to this pair lies in the dragon-inspired elements that adorn it. The Saucony logo on the side is segmented and scaly, while the burgundy suede toe cap features a tiled pattern.
The multicolored back tab displayed a mosaic-like effect, all reflecting the dragon concept. The sole and tongue take the theme a step further, incorporating traditional Chinese Zodiac iconography to commemorate the Year of the Dragon in 2024.
The Saucony Grid Shadow 2 “Year of the Dragon” was released on 11 March 2024 on Saucony.com. The shoe is unisex, and runs from men’s 3.5 to men’s 14.5 at an RRP of US$150. More releases from the brand’s “Legends Pack” can be expected in the coming weeks. Stay locked in for more updates.
