When Konami released the Premium Pack: The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century Edition to commemorate the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary, one of the cards which immediately drew attention was the iconic Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. And no wonder—this three-headed beast has a place in Yu-Gi-Oh canon as the most powerful of all dragons.

Like other cards released to mark the TCG’s milestone, this card comes in the special rarity of Quarter Century Secret Rare. This card is best-known as a card which is only playable following the fusion of three Blue-Eyes White Dragon cards.

In addition to its place in the canonical lore, the card’s extreme rarity and unique holofoil design add to its value. In the card’s background, there’s even a faded logo marking the 25th anniversay of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, consolidating this card’s unique status.

This card hasn’t yet been released in English. No plans for an international launch have yet been announced.

A Quarter Century Secret Rare Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (Premium Pack: The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century Edition TDPP-JP018) card bears a price of 11,000 JPY (~US$74).
