Release Confirmed: Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 1000 “When Things Were Pure” Pack

Another collaboration from the duo.


[Update 19 Apr 2024] According to the latest reports, the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 1000 “Pink Mink” won’t be seeing a wider release on New Balance on 19 April 2024. Its “Black Ice” counterpart however, is. Nevertheless, check out new images of the pack in the gallery above!

[Update 9 Apr 2024] Adding to the last update, Joe Freshgoods’ New Balance 1000 “When Things Were Pure” pack finally has a wider release (in addition to the initial raffle that’s open now which closes on 11 April).

Going for US$170 each, the pack will drop via joefreshgoods.com on 12 April with a New Balance release taking place on the 19th, 10AM (EDT). Keep a lookout! Till then, enjoy the official campaign images in the gallery above!

[Update 8 Apr 2024] The wait is over for the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 1000 “When Things Were Pure” pack. The release date has been surprisingly moved up to today, 8 April 2024!

To celebrate, official visuals courtesy of Sole Retriever have just dropped. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but check out the new images in the gallery above!

[Update 2 Apr 2024] Accompanying the arrival of new campaign images, a release date has been confirmed for the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 1000 “When Things Were Pure” pack! The pairs are set to drop on 20 April. Stay tuned for the release!

[Update 5 Mar 2024] Following leaked images of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 1000 “Black Ice”, the designer himself unveils a new colorway dropping alongside it.

Dubbed the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 1000 “Pink Mink”, this iteration features metallic overlays in a soft pink, a subtle nod to Cam’Ron’s famous pink mink outfit. Both colorways are rumored for an April release.

Following reports on a MADE in USA 990v6 collab, it seems Joe Freshgoods and New Balance are set to offer another release with the latter’s 1000 footwear model.

Images by @woganwodeyang and @DespairBlanket offer a sneak peek of the collaborative model, which retains the design of the original silhouette while incorporating sleek black mesh underlays and complementing burgundy overlays.

In a subtle yet significant alteration, the “1000” insignia on the toe side has been replaced with “JFG” branding.

No release details for the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 1000 have been confirmed at this time, but rest assured we’ll keep you informed as updates surface. Stay tuned here for the latest information.
