The Nike Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 “Tan/Salmon” Is the Biggest Fish in the Pond
Those who wear this shoe will feel like anything but a fish out of water.
Although the Air Jordan 1 might be the most iconic sneakers ever made, many sneakerheads over the years have been less than pleased about their comfort level—which isn’t always to their liking. To this end, Jordan Brand released the Nike Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2. This sneaker has been the basis for a number of unorthodox colorways like the Nike Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 “Tan/Salmon”.
Although the colorway itself may differ from the norm, the colorblocking remains tried and tested. That colorblocking was popularized by the “Metallic” colorways of almost four decades ago.
The multi-textural upper is fully tan; it’s a mixture of suede and canvas. Below that is a salmon portion that covers the outsole and mesh interior.
While the exact color choices may be a new development here, this shoe plays traditional in their colorblocking. It’s the configuration made famous on the array of “Metallic” colorways that helped launch the sneaker back in ’85. Here, tan envelops the multi textural upper, split halfway between suede and canvas. Literally underneath that is the “Salmon” hue, hitting the outsole as well as the mesh interior that sits below those mixed media panels.
The Nike Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 “Tan/Salmon” will launch on a date yet to be released. Its retail price is US$150.
