When the adidas Tischtennis was first released in the late ’70s, the sneaker directly referenced the Cold War concept of “ping pong diplomacy”. Long after the Cold War ended, this table tennis sneaker continued to remain popular. Now, following a revival in 2020, the women’s-exclusive adidas Tischtennis “White/Green/Gum” will be the next colorway to drop.

Primarily made of breathable mesh, this shoe features grey suede panels on the toe and heel for contrast. To further enhance breathability, there’s also white canvas material near the eyelets.

The curved gum sole not only provides impressive grip—it also makes the shoe extremely suitable for high-intensity movement. Although initially designed as a table tennis shoe, this shoe’s qualities cause it to be ideal for pickleball as well.
