The narratives formed around Michael Jordan’s life has inspired a plethora of colorways. Case in point: the “UNC” from his college days, as well as the iconic “Chicago” and “Bred”. For this incoming Nike Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Barons”: His brief, but nonetheless impactful baseball stint with the Birmingham Barons, a Chicago White Sox minor league affiliate.

Paying tribute to the team’s signature palette, Neutral Grey accents on the profile Swooshes and eyestays is perfectly juxtaposed against the crisp White leather base cradling the mudguard and midfoot.

The Black heel overlays introduce a touch of elegance, while the OG Nike Air branding on the tongue whispers of heritage. As a final flourish, a pristine White midsole contrasts flawlessly with the Neutral Grey outsole.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Barons” joins the Jumpman’s Holiday 2024 roster alongside the Jordan 3 “Black Cement”, Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Howard”, and many others.
