[Update 15 Mar 2024] After initially being announced as exclusive for kids, Nike will also be releasing the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Copper” in adult sizes.

The iconic Nike Air Foamposite One is having a moment in 2024, and the “Metallic Copper” colorway is joining the party in a special kids’ release this holiday season.

The shoe itself is a classic. Gleaming metallic copper takes over the Foamposite upper, with sleek black accents for contrast. Even the outsole gets a dose of copper love, all resting on a cool, icy translucent base. Think miniaturized Penny Hardaway vibes, perfect for young ballers or anyone who can rock the grade school sizing.

The Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Copper” GS drops this holiday season at Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers, both online and in-store. They will retail for US$180. Maybe this is the grail that might get the little ones invested in a sneaker collection.
