Since 2021, Miu Miu has taken the New Balance staple on a wild ride, from pre-aged leather to ripped denim. Three years on, it seems their 574 adventure is concluding. Enter the crystal-encrusted white 574, a dazzling farewell.

Spotted at Paris Fashion Week last summer, this pair starts with a clean white canvas base and suede overlays. More ostentatious than its predecessors, the entire upper is blanketed in thousands of shimmering crystals, from heel to toe, engulfing even the “N” logo.

An oversized Miu Miu tongue tag adds a touch of branding, while the comfy EVA foam midsole with ENCAP technology ensures NB’s hallmark comfort is uncompromised. As a final flourish comes the grippy gum rubber outsole, reminding us that despite the sparkle, this is still a running shoe at heart.

While Miu Miu primarily caters to women, this final 574 collaboration will be available in both men’s and women’s sizes.

Nevertheless, all this luxury comes with a price. At US$1,679, this Miu Miu x New Balance 574 is at least US$700 more than their prior releases. If you’re unphased, then you’ll just have to wait for a little more till they arrive at Miu Miu and New Balance’s webstores in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
