The Reebok ES 22 “Big Game” Asks “How ‘Bout Them Cowboys?”

Bringing back memories of the Dallas Cowboys' dynasty of the '90s.

Super Bowl LVIII is almost here, and Reebok isn’t missing out on the biggest event in American sports. The Reebok ES 22 “Big Game” will drop in time for the season finale at Allegiant Stadium.

This sneaker is a new version of the signature shoe of legendary Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith, who was named Super Bowl MVP 30 years ago. While Smith’s former team may have been eliminated from the playoffs several weeks ago, that takes nothing away from this visually impressive sneaker.

A black upper made of mesh and suede pairs well with the grey midsoles and lateral support. This combination brings about a highly sophisticated look that fits in perfectly on any gridiron.

Silver details on the vector logo and toe reference the Vince Lombardi Trophy that’s awarded to the Super Bowl champions. In addition, the prism effect on the heel and tongue badges allude to the showy razzle-dazzle that’s an inherent part of the Super Bowl.

The Reebok ES 22 “Big Game” will be released on 9 February 2024 via select Reebok retailers as well as on Reebok.com. A pair sells for US$180.
