[Update 7 Feb 2024] The release date of the BAPE x adidas Stan Smith was recently announced, and with that, we are finally treated to official stills of the eagerly awaited collaboration. Dubbed the BAPE x adidas Stan Smith “ABC Camo,” the shoe will be available on 10 February 2024, and will retail at US$160. Forget the history books, BAPE x adidas collabs have their own story in the world of sneakers, mixing classic sportswear with edgy street style. And for 2024, they’re back at it, revamping the iconic Stan Smith with a fresh twist that goes beyond last year’s “Cloud White & Core Black/Gold Metallic” chapter.

The new BAPE x adidas Stan Smith is all about celebrating BAPE’s roots. The entire leather upper is wrapped in their famous ABC Camo print, that cool green, brown, and tan combo you always see. It stands out against the crisp white heel tab, which features both the BAPE and adidas logos in fancy gold, just to remind everyone it’s a collab.

Even the tongue gets a makeover, ditching the usual Stan Smith portrait for BAPE’s iconic ape head. But don’t worry, Stan Smith’s name is still there on the side, paying homage to the tennis legend.

Hold on, there’s a cool detail worth mentioning. The lace dubraes have the “30th Anniversary BAPE” logo! Now, that anniversary was back in 2023, so it seems this shoe was meant for an earlier release. But fear not, it still looks amazing! And to top it all off, the clean off white sole makes these kicks super versatile.
